French: writing a paragraph about my school

 Year 6 revised vocabulary about places in the school. They then changed the definite article - the to a the indefinite article- a/ an, which they then used this to write a paragraph introducing the school. 

We wrote a paragraph together, then the children wrote their own independently.

Place Value - our first unit of learning in year 6 , and the children have shown a terrific understanding. Place value is the foundation of our mathematical  knowledge, and as we conclude negative numbers this week, we are looking forward to moving onto  calculating using the four operations .
