Year 6 Blog 2025/26

  Year 6 found out about how the French celebrate Easter, looking at some customs that are the same and different. They found out about the Carnaval de Nice, which is held annually. This year the theme was Vive la Reine.  The children then translated  Easter 🐣 vocabulary into French, using a dictionary, which they then found in a word search.

 In Year 6 we have learnt to use opposites in masculine and feminine forms. We had to use previous knowledge to understand and fill in our work sheet. We highlighted the antonyms in the paragraph. Then we used the correct form of the antonym to finish sentences.
